3rd in the nation!

I placed third this year in the nation. Not bad.

BUT Grant deserved the title more than ever. He KILLED IT!

Fall is coming; be excited!

What a busy summer of yoyoing!

I placed 6th at the world yoyo competition with my BEST world yoyo performance to date. Disappointed for dropping one place from last year but still satisfied w/ my performance.



With that said, a quick glance backwards in my calendar, here are all the demonstrations/gigs over the summer:

JUNE:
-23rd bday on 6/19
-BLC CONTEST in Los Angeles on 6/25-27 (2nd place)
-Vallejo performance on 6/27 (that's right, came back from LA and had a demo!)

JULY:
-GO OHANA! performance in Berkeley on 7/15 (a full set this time, thanks to Mike and Bianca for showing up and hanging out w/ me afterwards!)
-Chinese Progressive Association performance (CPA) at Chinatown Cultural Center on 7/22
-Yoshi arrives in SF to hangout 7/23-7/25
-Spindox Yoyo club in Berkeley on 7/24

AUGUST:
-WORLD YOYO COMPETITION, 6th place, 8/10-8/15 (missed my flight there!)
-Go Toys Demo in SF Westfield Mall on 8/21 (great demo, cool flier w/ POSTERS OF ME IN THE STORE!)
-Max's bday demo in Piedmont on 8/28 (my dad's and Aunty's bday too!)

SEPTEMBER:
-West Palm Beach, Florida to visit the Yoyojam factory on 9/3-9/7

Things are going by super quick in my yoyo life...I LOVE EVERY SECOND OF IT. Nationals is 2 weeks away and I'm as prepared as I'm going to be when that first Saturday of October arrives! I'll definitely come with something new...that's a guarantee!

Getting closer to accomplishing my YoYo Mission

As you may know, I'm trying to change lives with a yoyo. That's the penultimate goal. The ultimate goal is to make yoyos MAINSTREAM. I was one step closer this past Sunday at the St. Claire Fair in Santa Clara. I can't belive I forgot to get his business card so I can ask him to perform at a halftime show or even pregame!!!!!!!!!!! DOH!!!

Joseph, sorry for the delayed response. I would once again like to thank you for your involvement in the St. Clare festival. Your demonstration & time spent with the kids went far beyond any expectations I could have had. I hope you found the time worthwhile. If nothing else, you can tell people you sold one of your DVD's to John York, owner of the 49ers. I will keep your business card & hope I get the chance to ask you to participate in some event in the not to distant future! Once again, thanks for your exemplary effort last Sunday. You were a big hit!
